A quote that can be applied to just about anything...
I am a music junkie who writes poetry and lyrics. I'm halfway between student and teacher, constantly learning from my seventh graders and occassionally teaching something to them along the way. I believe that nice days are for being outside, and movies should be reserved for the rain or the end of a really tiring week. I believe that true friendship never dies, though it may take a short hiatus as you grow older. I believe that life is made up of thousands of little things, and each one should be appreciated just as much as the big. I believe that frisbees are for throwing, soccer balls are for kicking, rocks are for skipping, and fox tails are for flinging. I believe that large achievements aren't nearly as great without the pain that brought you there and that happiness isn't the same without the hard times to balance it out. I believe that everybody is fascinating if you sit down and take the time to listen to their story. I believe that family is important and through it all, they're who you have. I believe in Santa Claus, I believe in magic, I believe in love. I believe that fate only takes you so far before it is up to you to make your destiny. I believe that there is too much of a good thing, and that sometimes bad things turn good. I believe the world would be a better place if we didn't forget that everybody is human, with feelings and emotions. I believe in runs around Burke Lake, nights at the Ponds, eating Wendy's in the parking lot, and seeing concerts completely sober. I believe that college is more than parties, more than beer, more than classes- it is a time to grow, a time to make new friends, a time to explore the world around you. I believe that you shouldn't let yourself miss out on the moments that may just become the stories you tell your grandchildren because of a little insecurity. I believe that life moves fast and you have to enjoy it while you can, every second of every day, because really, you cannot tell when it just may be your last chance to do so...
